Effective Date: October 22, 2026
Welcome to SalamHost. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, hosting services, domain registration services, email services, and related products provided by SalamHost (“SalamHost,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
SalamHost is operated by [Legal Entity Name], a business organized under the laws of [State or Jurisdiction].
By creating an account, placing an order, purchasing a service, or using SalamHost, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and any additional terms applicable to your selected services.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not purchase or use our services.

You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information.

- Keep your account credentials confidential.
- Take reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access.
- Notify SalamHost promptly if you suspect unauthorized account activity.
- Accept responsibility for activities conducted through your account, except where prohibited by applicable law.
If you create an account on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you are authorized to enter into this agreement on its behalf.
SalamHost may verify account information and request additional documentation when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, or compliance purposes.
2. Services Provided
SalamHost offers managed hosting and related internet services, which may include:
- Managed Shared Hosting
- Managed WordPress Hosting
- Managed Virtual Private Server (VPS) Hosting
- Domain Name Registration and Transfers
- Email Hosting
- Website Migrations
- Hosting Configuration and Management

The features, resource allowances, pricing, and billing terms of each service are described on the applicable product page, order form, invoice, or service agreement.
We reserve the right to modify, improve, replace, or discontinue service features when reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law and existing contractual commitments.
Material changes affecting active paid services will be communicated when appropriate.
3. Managed Hosting Services
SalamHost specializes in managed hosting, meaning that we assist customers with the technical infrastructure required to operate their websites and applications.
However, managed hosting does not mean unlimited website development, application administration, or technical consulting.
3.1 Managed Shared Hosting
Managed Shared Hosting provides access to shared server resources maintained by SalamHost.
Our responsibilities may include:
- Server setup and configuration
- Operating system and server software maintenance
- Hosting environment security
- Server monitoring
- Backup administration
- Hosting-related troubleshooting
- cPanel access and assistance
- SSL configuration assistance
- Hosting performance maintenance
Customers remain responsible for their website files, applications, scripts, database content, and any third-party software they install or operate.
Shared hosting resources are used by multiple customers. Performance may vary based on resource allocation, server conditions, and individual application requirements.
3.2 Managed WordPress Hosting
Managed WordPress Hosting includes shared hosting infrastructure and additional WordPress-related assistance.
Depending on the selected package and service scope, this may include:
- WordPress installation and initial configuration
- WordPress core updates
- Hosting-related WordPress troubleshooting
- WordPress website migrations
- Hosting performance optimization
- Backup assistance
- Security monitoring
- Assistance with hosting-related compatibility issues
Managed WordPress Hosting does not automatically include:
- Custom website design
- Page building or content updates
- Custom plugin development
- Theme customization
- Search engine optimization
- WooCommerce store administration
- Product management
- Website redesigns
- Third-party software licensing
- Unlimited plugin troubleshooting or development
Such services may be quoted separately.
Customers are responsible for maintaining valid licenses for commercial plugins, themes, and other third-party software.
3.3 Managed VPS Hosting
Managed VPS Hosting provides allocated virtual server resources, including vCPU, RAM, storage, and other resources specified in the purchased plan.
SalamHost’s management responsibilities may include:
- Initial server provisioning
- Operating system installation and maintenance
- Security hardening
- Firewall configuration
- Server monitoring
- Supported control panel configuration
- Backup administration
- Server-related troubleshooting
- Operating system updates
Customers remain responsible for the applications, content, websites, databases, and software they deploy, except where an additional management arrangement expressly covers those responsibilities.
Dedicated VPS resource allocations do not guarantee a specific application performance level or that underlying physical infrastructure is exclusive to the customer.
SalamHost may restrict or decline unsupported software, operating systems, configurations, or administrative changes that could compromise service security or reliability.
Root or administrative access, where offered, may be subject to additional conditions. Customer-initiated modifications that materially interfere with SalamHost’s management tools may require remediation before normal managed support resumes.
4. Scope of Technical Support
SalamHost strives to provide accessible, personal, and helpful technical support.
Customers may contact us through available channels, including:
- Phone
- Text messaging
- Client Area support tickets
Support availability, operating hours, and response times may vary.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, SalamHost does not guarantee 24/7 live support, immediate responses, or a fixed resolution time.
Support generally covers hosting-related matters such as:
- Account setup
- Hosting configuration
- cPanel access and functionality
- Server-related issues
- SSL certificates
- DNS and hosting configuration
- Supported migrations
- Backup assistance
- Hosting-related performance problems
- Technical issues directly related to SalamHost infrastructure
We may request temporary administrative access, logs, screenshots, or additional information to investigate an issue.
SalamHost may decline requests outside the purchased service’s scope or offer separately priced technical services when appropriate.
Support is provided on a reasonable-effort basis. We cannot guarantee resolution of every third-party software or application issue.
5. Service Provisioning and Activation
Hosting services are generally provisioned after successful payment and completion of any applicable fraud, security, or account-verification checks.
Automated provisioning may be available for certain products.
Some services, including managed VPS hosting, custom configurations, and website migrations, may require additional setup or manual processing.
Provisioning timeframes are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
SalamHost is not responsible for delays caused by inaccurate information, incomplete orders, third-party providers, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
6. Billing, Payments, and Renewals
Customers agree to pay all applicable charges associated with their selected services.
6.1 Pricing
Service prices are displayed during checkout and may vary by:
- Product
- Hosting package
- Billing cycle
- Selected configuration
- Additional resources
- Add-on services
- Applicable taxes or fees
Unless otherwise indicated, prices are listed in United States dollars (USD).
6.2 Recurring Subscriptions
Hosting services may be offered with monthly, annual, or other available billing cycles.
When automatic renewal is enabled, the payment method on file may be charged for the next billing period unless the service is canceled before renewal in accordance with the applicable cancellation terms.
The applicable renewal frequency, amount, and payment authorization will be disclosed during checkout.
Customers are responsible for reviewing invoices and maintaining a valid payment method.
6.3 Renewal Pricing
Promotional or introductory pricing may differ from regular renewal pricing.
Applicable renewal prices and promotional conditions will be disclosed with the relevant offer.
SalamHost may adjust prices for future billing periods, subject to applicable law and any required notice.
6.4 Failed Payments
If payment is unsuccessful, SalamHost may issue reminders, restrict service access, suspend services, or eventually terminate unpaid services.
The specific grace periods and suspension schedule are described in Section 13 or any applicable service-specific terms.
6.5 Taxes
Customers are responsible for applicable sales, use, value-added, or similar taxes unless otherwise required by law.
7. Usage-Based Billing and Email Accounts
Certain SalamHost products may include usage-based charges for additional resources or services.
Where enabled, usage-based charges are calculated using metered information reported by the hosting platform.
7.1 Email Account Billing
For hosting plans with metered email billing, email accounts are billed separately from the base hosting subscription.
The currently configured rate is:
$5.00 USD per billable email account per month for monthly-billed eligible services, unless a different rate is disclosed at checkout or in the Client Area.
For example:
- 1 email account: $5.00
- 2 email accounts: $10.00
- 5 email accounts: $25.00
Creating additional billable email accounts may increase the amount owed.
Customers are responsible for monitoring the number of email accounts they create.
7.2 Usage Measurement
Email-account billing may be based on a snapshot of active accounts reported by the hosting platform.
Usage information may not update instantly.
Charges are calculated according to the applicable metering method, pricing configuration, and billing cycle.
For annual or other non-monthly hosting subscriptions, the applicable email billing schedule and calculation must be disclosed separately before purchase. Usage charges may otherwise be collected with the next service renewal rather than through monthly invoices.
The system does not necessarily calculate charges proportionally to the precise number of days each mailbox existed.
7.3 Email Storage and Limits
Email accounts share the storage allowance of the associated hosting package unless otherwise specified.
SalamHost may impose:
- Maximum storage per mailbox
- Outbound email limits
- Security and anti-spam restrictions
- Reasonable resource controls
- Restrictions on mailing lists or bulk messaging
Customers are responsible for ensuring their email usage complies with our Acceptable Use Policy.
8. Resource Allocations and Fair Usage
Hosting packages include the resource allowances specified during purchase.
These may include:
- Storage
- Bandwidth
- Website limits
- Databases
- Subdomains
- Addon domains
- Email resources
- CPU
- RAM
- Disk I/O
- Concurrent processes
- Other system resources
Resources advertised as unlimited or unmetered remain subject to technical limitations, reasonable-use requirements, server capacity, and the Acceptable Use Policy.
Customers must not use hosting accounts in a way that materially disrupts other customers or threatens platform stability.
SalamHost may contact customers whose resource usage exceeds their package limits or creates operational problems.
Where appropriate, customers may be asked to optimize their applications, reduce excessive usage, or upgrade their services.
SalamHost may apply reasonable resource restrictions necessary to protect system availability and security.
9. Website Migrations
Eligible SalamHost hosting plans may include complimentary website migration assistance.
The number of included migrations depends on the selected plan.
Migration assistance generally covers moving supported website files, databases, and configurations from an existing hosting environment.
Customers must provide the necessary access credentials and authorization.
While SalamHost will take reasonable care during migrations, successful migration depends on factors including:
- The source hosting environment
- Available backups
- Application compatibility
- DNS configuration
- Third-party software
- Website complexity
- Existing server restrictions
- Customer-provided credentials
SalamHost does not guarantee that every website can be migrated without downtime, incompatibility, or additional work.
Complex or unsupported migrations may require a separate quotation.
Customers should maintain an independent backup of their existing websites until migration is complete and verified.
10. Backups and Data Responsibility
SalamHost may provide automated backups as part of eligible hosting plans.
Backup frequency, retention periods, storage locations, and available restoration options may vary by service.
Although we take reasonable steps to maintain backups, SalamHost does not guarantee that every backup will be complete, current, error-free, or recoverable under every circumstance.
Customers remain responsible for maintaining independent copies of important data.
This includes:
- Website files
- Databases
- Email messages
- Application configurations
- Business records
- Other important digital assets
Backups may be unavailable following service termination, account deletion, major incidents, or expiration of retention periods.
Customers should download and verify their data before canceling or allowing services to expire.
11. Domain Registration and Management
Domain name registrations, renewals, transfers, and related services are subject to applicable registry, registrar, and ICANN rules.
SalamHost may act as a reseller or intermediary for domain registration services.
Purchasing a domain through SalamHost does not make SalamHost the domain’s beneficial owner. Registration rights are determined by the applicable registrant agreement and domain registration records.
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate registrant information
- Maintain current contact information
- Comply with applicable registration agreements
- Respond to required verification requests
- Avoid infringing third-party rights
- Pay applicable registration and renewal fees
- Monitor domain expiration dates
11.1 Domain Availability
Domain availability cannot be guaranteed until registration is successfully completed and confirmed by the applicable registrar or registry.
11.2 Domain Renewals
Customers are responsible for renewing domains before expiration.
Failure to renew may result in:
- Website or email disruption
- Domain suspension
- Domain expiration
- Redemption fees
- Loss of the domain name
SalamHost is not responsible for domain loss resulting from a customer’s failure to maintain accurate information, complete required verification, or pay renewal fees, except to the extent caused by SalamHost’s own breach or negligence.
11.3 Domain Transfers
Domain transfers are subject to applicable registrar policies, eligibility requirements, transfer restrictions, and processing timeframes.
11.4 Additional Registrar Terms
Customers must also accept any required registration agreements and policies of the sponsoring registrar and applicable registry.
Where these additional terms are legally required, they supplement these Terms.
12. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Activities
Customers must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy.
Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Hosting unlawful material
- Phishing and identity theft
- Fraudulent activity
- Malware distribution
- Unauthorized access to computer systems
- Denial-of-service attacks
- Unauthorized cryptocurrency mining
- Spam and abusive bulk messaging
- Operating unauthorized proxies or attack infrastructure
- Copyright or trademark infringement
- Distribution of stolen information
- Activities that threaten network security or stability
- Misuse of hosting infrastructure
SalamHost may establish additional content and usage restrictions consistent with its published policies.
We may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action, including warnings, restrictions, suspension, or termination.
Immediate action may be taken where necessary to protect customers, infrastructure, third parties, or comply with legal obligations.
13. Account Suspension and Termination
SalamHost may suspend or terminate services for legitimate reasons, including:
- Unpaid invoices
- Fraudulent payments
- Repeated policy violations
- Security incidents
- Illegal activity
- Serious resource abuse
- Misrepresentation of account information
- Material breaches of these Terms
Where reasonably practical, SalamHost will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue before suspension.
Immediate suspension may occur where delay would create a material security, legal, financial, or operational risk.
Nonpayment Schedule
The following schedule applies unless a different schedule is disclosed in the applicable product terms:
- Payment due date: As shown on the invoice
- Grace period: [Number of days]
- Possible suspension: [Number of days after due date]
- Possible termination: [Number of days after due date]
- Data deletion: [Applicable retention or deletion schedule]
Reactivation may require payment of outstanding invoices and applicable disclosed fees.
Termination of services may result in permanent deletion of associated data after the applicable retention period.
14. Cancellations and Refunds
Customers may request cancellation through the Client Area or another cancellation method provided by SalamHost.
Cancellation and refund eligibility are governed by our separately published Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Unless required by law or expressly provided in that policy:
- Cancellation does not automatically guarantee a refund.
- Previously incurred usage charges remain payable.
- Domain registration charges may be non-refundable.
- Additional setup or custom work may be non-refundable.
- Customers are responsible for downloading their data before service termination.
Customers should cancel recurring services before renewal to avoid additional charges.
15. Service Availability and Maintenance
SalamHost strives to maintain reliable infrastructure and minimize unnecessary interruptions.
However, hosting services may occasionally be affected by:
- Scheduled maintenance
- Emergency maintenance
- Hardware failure
- Network interruptions
- Data-center outages
- Cyberattacks
- DNS or registrar problems
- Upstream provider interruptions
- Software defects
- Events outside our reasonable control
SalamHost may perform necessary maintenance to preserve security and service reliability.
Where reasonably practical, we will provide advance notice of maintenance expected to cause material disruption.
No specific uptime percentage, financial service credit, or uninterrupted-service guarantee applies unless expressly stated in a separate service agreement or published service-level commitment.
16. Customer Content and Intellectual Property
Customers retain ownership of their original website content, files, databases, and other materials uploaded to SalamHost, subject to applicable third-party rights.
Customers grant SalamHost a limited, non-exclusive authorization to host, store, transmit, process, back up, and otherwise handle their content as reasonably necessary to provide the purchased services.
Customers represent that they have the necessary rights and permissions to host and distribute their content.
SalamHost does not claim ownership of customer-created websites or customer content solely because such content is hosted on our infrastructure.
The SalamHost name, logos, trademarks, website design, and proprietary materials remain the property of SalamHost or their respective owners.
17. Third-Party Software and Services
SalamHost services may rely on third-party software, infrastructure, registrars, control panels, security services, and other providers.
These may include technologies such as:
- cPanel/WHM
- WordPress
- Domain registrars
- Payment processors
- Backup software
- Server infrastructure providers
- Security applications
- Other licensed third-party products
Third-party services may be subject to their own agreements, policies, licensing requirements, and limitations.
SalamHost is not responsible for independent changes, discontinuation, licensing decisions, or failures by third-party providers except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded or arises from SalamHost’s own obligations.
18. Security Responsibilities
SalamHost maintains security measures appropriate to its hosting operations.
Customers must also take reasonable steps to protect their accounts and hosted applications.
Customers are responsible for:
- Using strong passwords
- Protecting login credentials
- Restricting administrative access
- Maintaining appropriate application security
- Avoiding untrusted plugins and software
- Ensuring lawful and secure processing of user information
- Reporting suspected compromises
- Complying with applicable data-protection obligations
SalamHost may restrict access or take appropriate remediation measures if a website or account is compromised and presents a security risk.
19. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Customers operating websites or applications that collect personal information are responsible for their own privacy notices, consent mechanisms, and compliance obligations.
Where SalamHost processes personal data on behalf of a customer, additional contractual data-protection terms may be required depending on applicable law and the nature of the processing.
Customers must not use SalamHost services to process data in violation of applicable law.
20. No Guarantee of Business Results
SalamHost provides technical hosting services and related support.
We do not guarantee:
- Search engine rankings
- Website traffic
- Business revenue
- Sales or conversions
- Specific application performance
- Compatibility with every plugin or application
- Uninterrupted website availability
- Success of any particular website or online project
Actual results depend on many factors outside SalamHost’s control, including application design, code quality, website content, traffic, software dependencies, and customer configuration.
21. Disclaimer of Warranties
Except for express warranties stated in an applicable service agreement and to the maximum extent permitted by law, SalamHost provides its services on an “as available” basis.
SalamHost disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in this section excludes warranties, guarantees, or consumer protections that cannot legally be waived.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SalamHost and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services.
This may include lost profits, lost revenue, business interruption, or loss of business opportunities.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SalamHost’s aggregate liability arising from a particular paid service will not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or other matters to the extent such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
23. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless SalamHost and its representatives from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from:
- Customer content that violates third-party rights
- Unlawful activities conducted through a customer’s services
- Material violations of these Terms
- Misuse of SalamHost infrastructure
- The customer’s breach of applicable laws or regulations
This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from SalamHost’s own wrongful conduct or breach of its obligations.
24. Changes to Services and Terms
SalamHost may update these Terms to reflect changes in:
- Services
- Technology
- Infrastructure
- Business operations
- Security requirements
- Legal obligations
Material changes will be communicated where required by law or reasonably appropriate.
Updated Terms will be published with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Changes will not retroactively eliminate accrued legal rights or override existing fixed-term commitments where prohibited by applicable law.
25. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory laws of another jurisdiction apply.
Any dispute arising from these Terms will be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in [County, Michigan], subject to applicable law.
Before initiating formal proceedings, the parties are encouraged to contact one another and attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from exercising rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.
26. General Provisions
Severability
If a provision of these Terms is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
No Waiver
Failure by SalamHost to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision later.
Assignment
Customers may not transfer their service agreement without SalamHost’s consent, except where permitted by law.
SalamHost may assign its rights and obligations in connection with a legitimate business transaction, subject to applicable law.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with incorporated policies, applicable product descriptions, checkout disclosures, and separately agreed service terms, constitute the agreement governing the purchased services.
